CREATIVE RUTS

ISSUE NO.4

What’s up, Strong Humans. I’m Danielle, your certified Claystylist. Welcome to my corner of clay, Black hair, and building an artist’s life.

Behind the Roots

I have been in a rut creatively and a lot of it has had to do with the fact that my creative space was a mess. I had trash all over the place, things in the wrong places, and I found myself wanting to spend less and less time in there. I decided enough is enough because this creative lull is not going to pass unless I do something about it.

I finally cleaned my pottery studio and y'all I feel so much lighter. Maybe this is your reminder to stop pushing off that area in your life that needs some decluttering! You can check out the full process in my latest YouTube video below.

New Growth

New Growth is a peek at what I’m excited to explore in the studio this week.

1.CUSTOM ORDERS ~ I am currently working on this past pre-order drop and they are looking stunning if I do say so myself. Also, I've been thinking about offering custom orders though! There are so many ideas I want to try and explore with hair, and if you have been looking for that one of a kind piece. Click here. I want to hear your ideas!

2.PORTABLE SINK ~ I talk about this is my new YouTube video. This portable sink has been a game changer to my pottery studio! You can get them from your local hardware store or online, and they come in so many different colors. It is the perfect addition to my space.

3.NEW COILED SERIES EPISODE ~ A new Coiled video is being filmed and I'm hoping to get it out in the next week or so! But, y'all brace yourselves. Something happened.. I'm not going to say too much. Just make sure you tune in.

Strong Reminders

Don't stay in your rut

Clean space, clean mind!

When was the last time you created something?

Stay Strong,

Danielle
